PRIVACY
NOTICE.

This notice describes what this website actually collects, why, and who can see it. It describes the software as it is built — nothing here is aspirational.

Who we are

Abuun Tech is a technical engineering studio based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. For anything in this notice, write to abuuntech.official@gmail.com.

What the project-fit form collects

When you submit the form on the contact page, we receive and store:

  • Your name — as you typed it.
  • Your email address — so we can reply.
  • Your company or organization — optional; blank if you leave it blank.
  • The services you selected — one or more from the listed options.
  • Your budget range — the bracket you chose. We use this to prepare a useful first conversation. It is never used to reject, rank or filter an enquiry, and choosing “not sure yet” changes nothing about how we reply.
  • Your preferred timeline — the option you chose.
  • Your project summary — the text you wrote.
  • An existing website or product address — optional.
  • How you found us — optional; you may leave it unanswered.
  • Your acknowledgement — that you understand how we use these answers, and when you gave it.
  • The time of submission — recorded automatically.

We use this to read your enquiry and reply to it. We do not use it for marketing lists, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside Abuun Tech other than the service providers listed below, who process it on our behalf in order to run the site.

Submissions are stored in our database and are readable in Studio OS by the Abuun team members whose role grants inquiry access. A copy is also emailed to our own address so we see new enquiries promptly.

As we work through an enquiry, our team records internal information alongside it — a status such as “contacted”, which team member is handling it, a follow-up reminder, and private working notes. These are our own records about handling your enquiry. They are never shown to you, never sent to you, and never included in any email. Changing them does not trigger a message to you.

Studio OS accounts

Studio OS is Abuun's internal operations system. It is restricted to authorized Abuun team members — it is not a customer or client portal, and we do not create accounts for the people who contact us. For team accounts we store a username, an email address, a role, an account creation timestamp, and a one-way hash of the password. We never store the password itself, and we cannot recover it.

Cookies

This site sets exactly one cookie, and only after you sign in to the portal: a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is httpOnly, restricted to this site, and marked Secure in production. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers anywhere on this site.

Server logs

Our server records technical information about requests: the HTTP method, the path, the response status, a generated request identifier, and the connecting IP address. IP addresses are also used to rate-limit sign-in attempts and form submissions so the site can resist automated abuse.

Passwords, cookies, authorization headers and the body text of contact messages are explicitly excluded from our logs.

Service providers

Running this site involves these third parties:

  • Our hosting provider — runs the application server and handles inbound requests.
  • Our managed PostgreSQL provider — stores the database described above.
  • Google (Gmail) — delivers the notification email for new enquiries.

Third-party requests

There are none. Every font, stylesheet, script and image on this site is served from this site's own domain. Your browser does not contact any other company while you use it.

Security

Traffic between your browser and this site is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. That protects your submission while it travels to us. It is not end-to-end encryption: once it arrives, we can read it — we have to, in order to reply.

How long we keep things

We have not set a fixed deletion schedule for contact submissions, so they remain in our database until we remove them. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will delete it.

Asking us about your data

Email abuuntech.official@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Include enough detail — the email address you used, roughly when you wrote — for us to find the right record.

Changes

If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it. It describes the current behaviour of the software, not a general policy.
